Photoelectric barrier

As manufacturers of lifts, at Hidral we are aware of the importance of implementing security measures to guarantee the best user experience for our customers.

In this case we want to pay attention to the photoelectric barrier present in our goods and passenger lift EHM-1500. This photoelectric barrier is a safety measure that avoids any possible risk of entrapment in the loading of passengers or goods on the lifting platform.

It is also a great help during loading to prevent the load from protruding over the edge of the cabin, as the photoelectric barrier includes an acoustic warning that sounds when the barrier is in some way interrupted. This means that if something gets in the way of the light it emits, the automatic sliding doors are blocked from closing. Until both cargo and passengers are placed inside the platform and the doors and ascent closures are secure, the barrier does not allow this to happen.

This also happens in movement, if the sensor detects that something or someone is crossing, which would mean that they are in danger of entrapment, the platform stops as a safety measure:in this video you can see it.
