Hidral and La Cité des Formations

Hidral, together with Hidral France, collaborates with La Cité des Formations, a training centre, located in France, which provides specific training in lift installation and maintenance.

It is a unique training centre in Europe for offering high quality training in the installation and maintenance of lifts. In addition, it has three other training branches related to catering, trade and car bodywork and painting, all in a huge facility where the students live and train.

The centre has 400 students for the lift installation and maintenance course. It has a 4-storey building with different training areas for this subject. It is significant that the building has 17 lift shafts with equipment donated by different companies so that they can learn in a very practical way.

For our part, Hidral, together with the subsidiary Hidral France, we support this wonderful initiative, which guarantees the training of qualified installers, by donating a piece of equipment to support this pioneering and unique centre. The equipment in question is an EHM-1500, with the capacity to move vertically up to 1000kg, with 180º loading and two stops. It is also a pitless platform, requiring no pit for installation. Without a doubt, it is a great example of a platform for loading and unloading that will help the students of the Cité des Formations to complete their training with great success.

As partners of the centre, both Hidral and Hidral France, we were invited to the official Inauguration, an event in which a guided tour was given and shown to a multitude of media who gathered to echo the launch of this training centre that will provide the sector with many highly qualified people. The centre has a zero-dropout rate and a 95% job placement rate.

From Hidral we are always on the side of the initiatives that have to do with supporting the elevation and accessibility sector and much more if we can also be part of job creation and training.
